And you can also follow this steps:-

1 swipe right from the camera screen  and then go to the chat screen.

2.Give pressure on my Ai button. 

3.Spot on chat  settings. 

4.spot on Clear from chat Feed.

However keep in mind apps like snapchat gives continuous update to its features and user interface, so the exact same steps may not apply in future.

If you want to you can also permanently delete your snapchat account in the account settings of snapchat.
